Chile is a long country with many different climate zones and as a concequense a huge amount of many different natural resourses such as lithium, fishing, copper, and more.
The important thing about this is that all of these big amount of raw materials give a job to many people that live of these resourses, it can be on a touristic way, exploting them or exporting and many of them are renewable, but they must be threated with respect in order they don't run out. That means their natural cicles have to be respected to avoid having shortages or droughts and also us and the future generations can be able to enjoy the nature just as people in the past did.
So in conclusion, raw materials are extremely important for every one, because they are able to mantain the country stable in more than one way.
